1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using the service, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and agree to follow these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
Anyone below the age at which they can independently consent to online services in their location must use the service with a guardian’s permission and supervision. If you do not agree to any term, stop creating inboxes or aliases and stop using the management console.
2. Service scope
The service includes short-term temporary inboxes, manageable forwarding aliases, limited-time delivery records, and passwordless code-based login. Available features, address domains, expiry periods, and quotas are those shown on the page and in the console at the time of use.
A temporary address is a task tool, not a permanent email account. We are not required to recover messages or reassign an address after it expires, its token is lost, or you replace the address yourself.
3. Receiving mailbox and credential responsibility
You must use a receiving mailbox that you are authorized to control and are responsible for securing that mailbox, login verification codes, local tokens, and authenticator keys. Actions performed with valid credentials are treated as initiated by the relevant user unless you promptly report unauthorized access.
If you discover that credentials have been exposed, immediately end the session, update your receiving mailbox’s security settings, and contact support. Never send verification codes or authenticator keys to anyone claiming they can recover your account for you.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the service for lawful sign-ups, trials, downloads, community participation, privacy separation, and authorized testing. Automated access must follow published interfaces, rate limits, and reasonable capacity limits and must not affect other users.
Every use must comply with applicable law, third-party website rules, and intellectual property requirements. An anonymous or aliased address does not remove your responsibility for submitted content, registration activity, or the consequences of your communications.
5. Prohibited use
You must not use the service for fraud, phishing, harassment, stalking, threats, malware distribution, unsolicited bulk communications, or child sexual exploitation. Do not impersonate individuals or organizations, or use multiple addresses to evade reasonable bans, eligibility limits, or purchase restrictions.
Do not scan infrastructure, guess other people’s tokens, reverse-engineer or bypass security controls, stress-test unauthorized interfaces, or consume resources through abnormal requests. We may block senders, domains, network addresses, and automation patterns associated with known malicious activity.
6. Quotas, expiry, and service changes
Temporary inbox lifetimes, alias counts, request frequency, attachment sizes, and archive periods may be limited. These limits support capacity management, delivery reputation, and abuse prevention; they are not a promise of permanent capacity to any user.
We may add, adjust, or discontinue features and will try to provide reasonable notice before significant changes. Urgent security fixes, provider outages, or legal requirements may require immediate changes without advance notice.
7. Email content and third-party links
Emails are sent by third parties. The service only receives, displays, or forwards them along the technical path and does not endorse their content. Sender identity, attachment safety, offer authenticity, and the purpose of external links may be beyond our control.
Check the source before opening attachments, entering verification codes, or visiting websites in emails. Demonstration emails only illustrate the interface and have no affiliation, sponsorship, or authorization relationship with the brands shown.
8. Investigation, restrictions, and termination
When we reasonably believe activity violates these terms, harms the system, affects delivery reputation, or creates a real-world risk, we may limit requests, suspend aliases, delete harmful content, or terminate access. We will consider the seriousness, recurrence, and urgency of the conduct.
Obvious illegal activity, automated attacks, or imminent harm may require action without prior notice. If you believe a restriction is mistaken, contact support with the relevant time, address, and explanation of lawful use; we will review the information available to us.
9. Intellectual property and feedback
The website interface, brand assets, code, and original documentation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms grant only the limited, revocable, non-exclusive rights needed to use the service normally; they transfer no ownership.
You retain rights to content you lawfully own. We may use suggestions you submit to improve the service, but doing so does not give us marketing or publishing permission for the body of your emails.
10. Service disclaimer
The service is provided as is and as available. We work to maintain availability but do not guarantee that every email will arrive, arrive without delay, remain available indefinitely, or work with every sending system.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use a recoverable, long-term mailbox for critical accounts and keep your own copies of information you need to retain.
11. Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses caused by address expiry, email delays, third-party content, exposed credentials, or service interruptions. Liability that cannot legally be excluded is unaffected by this section.
If your unlawful or non-compliant use of the service leads to a third-party claim, you must cover the resulting reasonable costs to the extent permitted by applicable law. We will notify you promptly and allow you to participate in a reasonable defense.
12. Updates, severability, and contact
We may update these terms as the service or law changes and will show the effective date on this page. Continuing to use the updated service means you accept the revised terms; significant changes will not retroactively alter short-term tasks already completed.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective and the provision will be interpreted within the lawful scope closest to its original intent. Send questions about these terms to support@forwardsmtp.com.
